Huron, Ohio - (June 24, 2010) -- Sawmill Creek Resort, nestled on 235 spacious acres on the
shores of Lake Erie near Huron and Sandusky, Ohio, has partnered with Lake Erie Boat
Week for the inaugural event in 2010.

Lake Erie Boat Week is a new national boating festival to be held September 7-12, 2010,
headquartered at the Huron (OH) Boat Basin, with activities to be held on Lake Erie and the
Huron River.

Lake Erie Boat Week is a new event to the area, but is expected to attract 100,000+ people
and potentially $5-$10 million to the local Erie Islands economy.  The Lake Erie Boat Week
event will consist of a Powerboat Regatta, “Fastest Boat on Lake Erie” Competition held on
Lake Erie, and an APR Powerboat Superleague powerboat race (100-mph boats), held in the
Huron River and at the Huron Boat Basin, in the massively popular Lake Erie Shores and
Islands region.
